Are You Addicted to Fear?
Many of us live from crisis to crisis and think: “Once this is over, I’ll feel better.” What if you stopped letting your circumstances dictate the way you feel? Is it possible to live in joy and ease no matter what’s happening around you?
Your inner state directly determines your health, and you can set the stage for this instead of being a victim of what’s going on around you.
Join me for this week’s episode of MindBody TV where I’ll share how to break the cycle of living in fear and become the master of your inner state!
XO,
Kim

I’m Re-listening to Kims MindBody tV replay about being addicted to fear. I found Dr. Kim several months ago when I was searching for something to help me while I’m withdrawing from benzodiazepines. I have reached out to you a few times but l I’m still having trouble trying to find the right program that could help me get out if this CHEMICALLY induced fear during withdrawal. What happens during withdrawal is basically a chemically induced fight or flight because the gaba receptors have been down regulated, and gaba is the calming neurotransmitter which is not working. So, chronic fight or flight happens. I am desperate to find something that can help me and I listen to all of Kims you tubes & ive read her book and I’m also looking at the TMS groups, but I keep getting stuck on the fact that my FEAR (fight or flight or freeze) is structural damage to the brain due to benzodiazepines. Do any of Kims programs help people withdrawing from benzodiazepines? I know I am like a broken record. I have emailed & posted multiple times hoping to find THE ANSWER. But I’m just STUCK on this knowledge that the benzos have damaged my brain and that’s why I’m in fight or flight 24/7 (at varying degrees, but always here). I listen to you tubes, meditate & tap all day long I want to live my life too. I have a new husband that I’m unable to connect with because all I do all day is try to relax and calm myself. This isn’t living. When I take the quiz, the Pain program is suggested. But I’m wondering if the Anxiety program would work?? Thank you So much for reading all of my emails. I’m
Sorry to be such a pain!! 😬😬. But I’m desperate and I keep feeling like Kim is the one who can help me.
Hi Robin,
I think the Anxiety Program would be a great place to begin to help turn off the flight or fight you are experiencing. You can reach out to me in support and I can further assist you.
