Triggered? What to Do When Emotions Seem Too Big
Our minds have been trained to see ourselves as small and powerless, focusing on surviving the moment rather than opening to the massive power and greatness we truly are. We learn to cope with this assumed smallness by suppressing our feelings and managing life, rather than pausing to access the infinite intelligence within! Each time we go into fight-or-flight trying “handle” things, we suppress health, wellbeing, and abundance. This gives us more evidence that we’re small and limited, and so we continue the cycle of suppressing and managing our lives.
When we awaken and remember our inner power, we open a huge space that’s bigger than everything that’s happening! This allows us to expand, even in the greatest moments of intensity, so the emotions can move through.
