Interview of Dr. Kim D’Eramo with Dr. Peter Osborne

Dr. Peter Osborne is a chiropractic doctor, Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist, and author of the bestselling book “No Grain No Pain”.

In this interview, he shares:

– How to discover if you have gluten or grain-sensitivity
– What inflammation is and how it affects the body
– The role of nutrition in autoimmune diseases
– What people can do to reduce inflammation and reverse disease

Statistically, the autoimmune disease kills more people than cancer and heart disease. Chronic pain is the number one reason that people go to the doctor.

Through genetic testing, we can discover if a person is gluten or grain sensitive. The body of those with grain sensitivity looks at grain as an enemy rather than a friend, resulting in an inflammatory response.

Your body uses inflammation as a tool so you can repair tissues. But when it grows out of control, that’s where the problem starts. Think about this: Breaking down is necessary so you can build anew. But if you are consistently breaking down, how can you ever rebuild?

“Inflammation is part of the process of healing, but healing never occurs because the body just stays in the stage of chronic inflammation.” – Dr. Peter

Dr. Peter also talks about some natural things that people can do to reduce inflammation and make their body healthier. These include:

  1. Eating the right foods
  2. Getting enough sunshine
  3. Exercising
  4. Getting enough sleep
  5. Learning to laugh

Dr. Peter also talks about the prescription-pain trap—how prescription drugs provide temporary relief but also never allow your body to heal completely.

An aspirin a day may not be a big deal, but when you become consistent users of these drugs, they will strip away the mucosal barrier and lining in your stomach and small intestines. This prevents your gut and body from ever healing. You might be blocking the pain, but you are also causing leaky gut and more pain that requires further medication—that’s the trap.

Uncover the link between foods and disease to unlock the key to your health! Listen to the interview now.

XO,
Kim
